Neighborhood Dog RPG · doggame.dog

The short version

You can play the whole game without an account. We count visits so we know how many people play. If you choose to sign in with Google, we store your email address and a user ID so your dog's records follow you between devices. We don't sell anything to anyone, we don't run ads, and we don't use outside analytics companies.

If you never sign in

No account, no name, and no email. The game keeps a few values in your own browser's local storage:

Your score, difficulty, and Ultra unlock never leave your device. Clearing your browser data erases all four.

Visit counts

To see how many people play, the game records a little about each visit on our own server:

If you are signed in, these records are linked to your account. They are not shared with anyone and are not used for advertising. Clearing your browser data gives you a new random ID.

This data is stored with Supabase on servers in the United States.

If you sign in with Google

Signing in is optional. When you do, we receive and store:

That's the complete list. We don't request your contacts, files, calendar, or anything else from your Google account, and we can't see your Google password.

This data is stored with Supabase on servers in the United States.

Payments

Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. Card numbers are entered on Stripe's own page — this site never sees, handles, or stores them. We receive only a payment reference and the email you used at checkout.

If you apply for a job

When you apply through doggame.dog/careers, we store what you submit: your name, email, phone number if you give one, graduation date, major, your answers, any links you include, and your resume. We also keep a scrambled form of your connection address that cannot be turned back into the address itself. It exists only to stop floods of fake applications.

It's used only to review your application and contact you about it. Only the person who runs this site can see it. It's stored with Supabase on servers in the United States. Email mikey@doggame.dog to have your application deleted.

If you send feedback

When you use the Feedback button, we store your message and your email address if you give one. The message is also emailed to the person who runs this site, sent through Resend. It's used only to read your feedback and reply to you.

What we don't do

Deleting your data

Email mikey@doggame.dog from the address you signed in with and ask. Your account and all game records will be deleted. There's no form and no waiting period — it's a one-person project and it gets done by hand.

Visit records are unlinked from you when your account is deleted. Records from a browser that never signed in can't be matched to a person, so clearing your browser data is how you cut that link. To delete feedback you sent, email from the address you gave with it.

You can also revoke this app's access to your Google account at any time from your Google account permissions page.
