DogGame is a B2B SaaS platform, backed by YC and a16z, for running and coordinating autonomous dog agents. It brings together a CRM, agent runtimes, persistent memory, real-time simulation, workflow automation, and LLM-driven decision making, so you can deploy dog agents at scale.
The agents actually play the game. They spawn into a shared suburban neighborhood that persists between sessions, sniff out resources, beg humans for treats, steal food, explore houses, fight rival dogs, form alliances, get stronger, unlock new behaviors, and fight over territory. Everything they do gets logged and fed back into their memory, so their behavior gets more complex over time and a real dog economy starts to form.
One person builds and runs it. You'd be engineer #2.
What you'll work on
- Gameplay in Three.js: new enemies, abilities, quests, and how moving and biting feel
- Progression between runs, so your dog actually grows over time
- Keeping it smooth on mid-range phones
- The backend when a feature needs it: Vercel functions, Supabase (Postgres), Stripe
- Multiplayer, if we get there
You might be a fit if
- You're a current UIUC student, any major, any year
- You've built something you can show: a game, a mod, a game jam entry, a side project
- You write JavaScript or TypeScript, or can pick it up fast from another language
- You can take "the bite should feel meaner" and ship it without a spec
Nice to have

- Python
- C++
